November 2nd, 3pm

Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mount Shasta, CA

Tomasz Kamieniak will perform at Mt. Shasta’s Seventh Day Adventist Church on November 2, 2025 at 3pm. His program will open with Erik Satie’s Three Distinguished Waltzes of a Jaded Dandy and Desiccated Embryos. Romantic ballades by Walter Niemann and Joachim Raff follow, alongside Liszt’s dreamy Valse oubliée No. 3 and Hungarian Rhapsody No. 8. The program will continue with Alkan’s En rythme molossique, and Liszt’s Gleanings from Woronince—a set of poetic, Eastern European-inspired pieces—concluding with the powerful Tannhäuser Overture.

Tomasz Kamieniak is a Polish pianist and composer known for both beloved and lesser-known gems of the classical repertoire. A prizewinner in international competitions, he has performed across Europe and Asia and recorded works by Józef Wieniawski. His compositions—ranging from solo to orchestral—have been performed throughout Poland and published internationally. He lives and works in Berlin.
